DRMGRL — MMA Inspired Logo & Apparel Design
This project was built around gritty, MMA aesthetics — pulling influence from 2000s fight culture, old UFC events, and the raw energy of fighters stepping into the cage.
The concept evolved into a bold, high-contrast mark featuring a gi fighter squaring off against a no-gi fighter — a nod to UFC 1 and the clash of fighting styles.
Textures were kept rough and imperfect to carry that underground fight poster.
The logo was designed to work across apparel, gear, and digital, with black/white applications to keep it versatile for printing on gis, rash guards, and fight shorts.
The end result: a design that feels like it belongs in MMA, and built for modern branding.
